How a StoryWith AI pass is counted: every book-wide analyzer (Themes, Emotional Arc, Dependencies, book consistency, Characters, Worldbuilding and Explain my story) plus a full Continuity scan. For a 90,000-word novel of 75 scenes that is about 18 AI text actions, so three passes use about 54 of Author's 500. Importing the manuscript costs 5 more, once. Running the scene-level analyzers on all 75 scenes adds about 375 actions to a pass, so three such passes do not fit in a month on Author. Pro has no limit.

Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan gives you every tool and unlimited books, with 50 one-time AI text actions, 15 one-time AI images and basic continuity and coverage scans. No card is needed.
Can I rescan my manuscript after every revision?
Yes. Analyses run on your monthly AI allowance rather than on per-manuscript credits, so you can scan, revise and scan again. A book-level pass of a 90,000-word novel uses about 18 AI text actions, and running the scene-level analyzers on every scene adds about 375. Author includes 500 AI text actions a month and Pro includes unlimited AI text actions.
How much do I save with yearly billing?
Paying yearly costs up to 37% less than twelve monthly payments at list prices. Yearly Author members also get a fourth reader feedback session each month.
What is your refund policy?
Subscriptions come with a 14-day refund, no questions asked: email support within 14 days of your first purchase or upgrade. A Founding Lifetime seat can be refunded within 30 days while lifetime usage is at or below 50 text actions and 10 images.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access until the end of the period you paid for. Your books stay in your account, and you can export them to Markdown at any time.
What is the Founding Lifetime seat?
A one-time payment instead of a subscription. It includes every Pro feature except unlimited AI, with 3,000 AI text actions, 200 images and 12 reader sessions refilled every year. Seats are limited, and each one belongs to one person.
How does the Studio plan work for teams?
Studio gives every member everything in Pro at one flat price: unlimited members, a shared organization library, team roles and pooled AI quotas. There is no per-seat charge.
Is StoryWith AI a replacement for a human editor?
No. It is a first pass before a human editor, not a substitute for one. It finds structural, pacing and continuity problems quickly, so the editing you pay for goes on judgment rather than on issues software can spot.
Which currency am I charged in?
Every plan is charged in US dollars, and tax is calculated at checkout. Where prices are shown in your local currency they are estimates, and your bank's exchange rate applies.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or move between monthly and yearly billing from the billing page in your account.
