Common questions
My 6-digit sign-in code isn't working
StoryWith AI has no passwords. You enter your email address and we send you a 6-digit code.
- A code is valid for 10 minutes. After that it stops working — ask for a fresh one with “Resend code”.
- If no code arrives, check your spam and promotions folders, and make sure you entered the same address you signed up with. Only the newest code works, so use the most recent email if you asked more than once.
- You can also sign in with Google or Apple instead of using a code.
How do I import a manuscript?
Open a book and choose “Import” from the manuscript menu. We read .docx, .md, .txt and .pdf files, and split what you upload into chapters and scenes.
Importing into a book that already has chapters rebuilds it from the file, so read the review step before you confirm. A file that will not import is usually empty, password-protected, or a scanned PDF with no selectable text — save it again as .docx or .md and try once more.
An analyzer will not run
Analyzers spend credits. Every membership includes a monthly allowance of text and image credits that resets on your renewal date, and an analyzer stops being available once that allowance is used up.
If you still have credits left, the model provider may be busy — wait a moment and try again. An empty scene has nothing to analyse, so add some writing first.
How does membership work?
You can write for free. A paid membership raises how much you can analyse and generate each month. Memberships are set up and managed on the web rather than inside the mobile app: open “Membership” in your account menu to see your plan, switch it, or cancel.
Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your access in place until the period you have already paid for ends. Either way your writing stays yours, and you can export it at any time.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app: More → Settings → Delete account
